Our tasting will explore the diverse red wines of these two wine producing neighbors to the north. We will taste Pinot Noirs from Oregon, Cabernet, Merlot, and Rhone varietals from Washington. Wines from both states regularly appear on yearly lists of “best wines” found in the major wine journals. Leading us through this sampling and discussing the wines and wineries of the Pacific Northwest will be Christi Gerlach of Northwest Wines, Ltd, who has an extensive career in the wine industry.
